Maud Public Works
The Maud Public Works department is led by Public Works Superintendent Teresa Wilkerson. Additional employees are plant operator Heath Woods and John Davis.
The Public Works department operates the City's Reverse Osmosis Water Treatment plant, ensuring safe, clean water for the residents of the City. Additionaly, they maintain the four wells that feed the system, the water tower, and approximately eleven miles of water mains that distribute water to the residents of Maud.
The department also operates the Wastewater Treatment plant, as well as 3 sewer lift stations and almost thirteen miles of collection lines that move the wastewater to the treatment plant, and ensures compliance with all Department of Environmental Quality regulations.
Additionally, the department is responsible for maintenance of the City streets, the City park and recreation areas, and are the caretakers for the Cummings cemetery.
