Maud Fire Department

The Maud Fire Department is an all-volunteer department, under the command of Fire Chief Matt Peters. The department currently has twenty volunteer members.

The mission of the Maud Fire Department is to provide fire suppression, medical aid, and search and rescue services to citizens in their district.

The Maud Fire Department serves the Maud Fire district, as set by the County Commissioners of Pottawatomie and Seminole Counties. Additionally, the department is a party to the Oklahoma Mutual Aid compact. Under this compact, they may request and respond to mutual aid requests from other departments throughout the state.

Currently, the department has two engines, a tanker, four brush rigs, and a rescue unit.
